The Hunt for New Physics at the Large Hadron Collider
1/14/2010
162 citations (86 excluding self-citations). A large community review surveying the full landscape of BSM physics opportunities at the LHC as the machine began operations.
The Scope
A 230-page review with over 80 authors, covering every major class of new physics that the LHC could discover: supersymmetry, extra dimensions, extended gauge sectors, hidden sectors, new sources of CP violation, the nature of electroweak symmetry breaking, and TeV-scale string models. Written to serve as a theoretical companion to the experimental Technical Design Reports from ATLAS and CMS, providing the physics motivation for the search program those detectors were built to execute.
